For Dopravní podnik hl m. Prahy (DPP), the public transport operator in Prague (Czech), Zwitch sets up an feasiblity study, containing an analysis of the current situation of the entrance and ticketing systems of DPP in comparison with advanced fare collection experiences in the world, like the multi-modal and mulit-operator schemes as in The Netherlands. It shows the possibilities for reducing fare evasion, increasing social safety and establishing pricing structures within a reasonable short pay back period. The study also provides DPP a practical plan from the principles of scalability. Download the summary: Analysis-Study-DPP-Zwitch-2013-Summarized.pdf.
